Florida State Leo Strauss What Are The Best Private Colleges/universities In Florida?

What are the best private colleges/universities in Florida? - florida state leo strauss

From outside the state, knowing that the cost will be very difficult for a public university, with two of the state to finance tuition fees and scholarships are available for most current residents of Florida. Therefore, I try to look at several colleges and private universities in Florida.
Some are considered the:
South Florida
Eckerd College
Saint Leo University
Rollins College
Ask for more information about these schools (do not know what would be useful on their website) and maybe some good information on all other private universities may be missing.
Thank you!

Be sure to check the Stetson University. That's where I am at school (BBA was in 1978, JD, 1981).

See http://www.stetson.edu

In response to the princess:

Without anything away from Stetson University, I think the princess is a good starting point. If you go for example to a community college and then transfer to a receiving State University and a graduate degree, have a level (State University), which looks like any other race that has given by these institutions.

In addition, in Florida, students who are at the first two years in a state of public universities are under enormous pressure to succeed. The University must give way to community college graduates already in the third and fourth years, so I try to wash until they from the second year. At least that's what I say.

If you can afford to take care of Stetson is a private school with small classes and teachers, and is an excellent learning experience.

When I Stetson University Undergraduatein Deland (1975-1978), Annual Course was approximately $ 2,500 per year. How times have changed. Today is about $ 30,000.

Why should we be in a private university in the state? It will be expensive. You can save a lot of money if you take a public university in their state because the schools need more money if they are outside of the state, especially if public and private. If I were you, I want to go to community college, and my general education courses for two years and then transfer to the University. You can save a lot of money, because I am very Shure you do not want to end up paying $ 100,000 thousand dollars, when they graduate.

I know that community colleges many stereotypes, but many of them are wrong. One of the stereotypes incorect most community colleges is that people who go there are stupid and classes is much easire. That is wrong. Many people who have dreams of attending community colleges, doctors, lawyers and scientists and classes at community colleges are not easier than the classes, because each will receive another school, you need a C in all classes at GEt credit for them.

Good luck with your decision!

The best way is still a public school, because to be considered, could a resident after a while. And even with state tuition still a fraction of a private school. Miami comes to mind.
